kelly in paris travel blog

Welcome (officially) to The Millennial Diaries.

We’re not entirely new here – although you very well may be (hi!!) – but we have a new look, a new name and a new purpose. A little rebrand and refresh, if you will.

In short – this is the travel blog I’ve dreamed of for the good part of the last decade.

I have dabbled in blogging here and there over the years, but a lack of knowledge, time and severe inconsistency on my behalf meant it never stuck, and never grew. Go figure.

This sparkly clean, rebranded and repurposed blog will be devoted entirely to travelling and lifestyle. And yes, I know what you’re probably thinking – aren’t there already a million and one travel blogs out there? Aren’t you a little… late to the party?
I have had the same questions, and come to the conclusion that yes, there certainly are, and no, I am not.

I have realised there is only one me out there, and there is only one you, and there is a chance that my travel diaries, tips, insights and itinerary suggestions might just be the perfect match for you. I’ve spent years letting these self-doubt questions and thoughts stop me from going for what I really want, and that isn’t doing me any favours to live out my dream life and career.

There is also the fact that even if the only person who reads this is my mum, I won’t really mind.

I love to write, I love to travel, and I love to create – so I am putting it all together.

And as much as I do hope my mum reads them, and the previous statement is true, I also hope this may find you when you need it. When you need inspiration on destinations, hotels, museums to visit, itineraries to follow, restaurants to try, or when you simply need an escape – I hope you will find what you are looking for here.

When you’re here having a browse, there’s a good chance you’ll find my older travel blogs. A part of me is worried about keeping my old posts here cause they are kind of cringe – but I figure they may be a good point of difference to look back on. Plus, after reading them again, they are kind of funny. I was a SAVAGE reviewer back in the day.

Anyway, if you have found me, I am so happy to have you here.

My inbox is always open, and I can’t wait to get to know you all very soon.

Au revoir,

Kelly x

PS. I also write blogs and create content for businesses – you can find out more about that here!
